Will other Unmatched items be available in the Pledge Manager?

Do you take PayPal/Venmo/other payment outside of Kickstarter/Backerkit?

No. We are not able to take payment outside of Kickstarter and Backerkit.

Are there any shipping restrictions?

We cannot ship to PO Boxes. We cannot ship to certain countries due to issues with the local postal system or other factors, including the following countries: Brazil, Iran, Israel, North Korea, Russia, South Africa, and United Arab Emirates.

What are alternate art cards for?

The alternate art cards are not necessary for gameplay. If you choose to play with some of the alternates, you simply substitute it for the regular card of the matching card name in order to keep the card count correct.

We design our inserts to fit sleeved cards.

What items are Kickstarter exclusive?

The Deluxe Tokens, Neoprene Battlefield Mat, Sleeves, Collectors Coin, Foil promo cards, and Alternate Art Cards will not go into standard distribution. Retail backers will be able to order these items, and remnant inventory will be made available on restorationgames.com and at our booth at conventions.

Will I get it before it is in stores?

It’s our priority to fulfill our backers before the official retail release date. Depending on timing, we may have limited copies available at conventions before fulfillment is complete. Retail backers may have stock available for sale before the retail release date as well.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is a flat rate based on your region. Please review the shipping and VAT chart on the campaign page for your region’s rate.

Will you have a play through during the campaign?

There are no plans for a playthrough or other commissioned content at this time. Due to design, production, and licensing approval timelines - creating presentable prototypes for filming wasn’t feasible for the campaign. The draft rulebooks are available for you to read (links on the campaign page) and a wide variety of reviews of both Unmatched sets and Unmatched Adventures: Tales to Amaze are available online.

How do I get the Collectors Coin for free?

The Collectors Coin is a bonus freebie for backers who signed up to be notified about the campaign in advance. As long as you back the campaign with the same email address you signed up to be notified, it will be added to your cart in the pledge manager later.

Refunds and Cancellations

You can cancel at any time prior to the end of the campaign without being charged. After the campaign ends, but before the pledge manager closes, you can cancel your order for a 90% refund. After the pledge manager closes you can cancel for a 75% refund, which reflects the additional expenses we have incurred in manufacturing and shipping items. We will not refund pledges less than $20. We cannot promise a refund after shipping starts but will consider it on a case-by-case basis. All refund requests must be made to [email protected].

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Terms and Conditions

Before the pledge manager closes, you can cancel your Kickstarter pledge for a 90% refund. After the pledge manager closes you can cancel for a 75% refund, which reflects the additional expenses we have incurred in processing fees, manufacturing, and shipping items. We will not refund pledges less than $20. We cannot promise a refund after shipping starts but will consider it on a case-by-case basis.
Late pledges made directly on Backerkit can be cancelled before December 10th and will not be charged.
